Find us on Facebook

It's been a busy week! First Twitter and now we have an official Facebook group. It's a great way to find out the latest news and also to dispel some of the more common myths surrounding the Bower! It's all changed dramatically since the tradition began back in the days of Henry II - having to pay to hire the park, policing, security to name a few - the bill tops £50,000 - but it's all worth it, it's a great day out and we raise money for charity as well! Please support us if you can!

Lichfield Bower now on Twitter

You can now keep up to date with all the news from Lichfield Bower on Twitter. Just follow us @LichfieldBower and be the first to hear the latest from Lichfield's oldest event!

Bower Route remains the same!

Following receipt of a petition from local residents the Bower Committee took the decision to keep the traditional route for the procession the same as previous years. We are hoping to see crowds supporting the event throughout the route and are looking forward to a successful event. Following the procession we have a full programme of events in Beacon Park - a great day out for the whole family!
